December 13: Fox and Geese
If you read my article behind door 3, you'll know that the wealthier classes in Tudor England enjoyed board games. As well as Nine Men's Morris (see door 3), another popular game was Fox and Geese. This board game was a descendant of the ancient game of tafl which was played on a cross-shaped board. It's a two-player game with one person controlling the fox and the other player controlling the 13 geese.
