I’m so excited about the new research that is being carried out on the “From the Lady in the Tower” letter that is said to have been written by Anne Boleyn while she was in the Tower of London awaiting her trial in May 1536.
Some historians dismiss it as a forgery, while others are convinced of its authenticity, so it’s a bit of a mystery. But new research carried out by Amanda Glover on the copy in the collection at the British Library gives us some more information.
Amanda’s findings have been published over on the Tudor Society, so please do click here to head over there now, and I’m sure Amanda would be interested to hear your thoughts too.
