I've always been rather confused about Chapuy's and his opinions on Anne.
One minute he's slams her and then next he's admiring her courage. I know Anne intriguied everyone around her, even ones who hated her, but the ambassadors opinions about his feeling for Anne are very mood swingish. Maybe Anne herself brought out the Bi Polar in him.

He was very conflicted about her, wasn't he.
He admired KoA and supported her but some of the qualities he admired in KoA were the same as Anne had .Must have been hard for Chapuys to condemn Anne's actions while supporting Katherine's similar actions.

I have written many times of my dislike for this man's statements and I'm not changing my mind here. If Chapuys admired Anne at certain times, it was because he was having a few moments of honest evaluation. Most of of the time he was just plain hateful.
