There is a painting of Elizabeth I done when she was a teenager that shows her wearing it. I thought that the bulk of Anne's jewelry was taken and melted down after she was executed. Seems like this necklace wasn't if Elizabeth had it, but, after that, who knows since Elizabeth didn't have any heirs.

Where can i see this pic of Elizabeth wearing the B necklace?? I have always wondered what happened to is….would be nice if it was found after all these years
I know that at Hampton Court Palace there is a painting titled “The Family of Henry VIII.” It shows Elizabeth wearing one of her mother's necklaces, but I believe it to be an A pendant.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
This painting is found on the internet, but it is hard to see Elizabeth's necklace with any clarity.

The State jewelry would have been returned since it belonged to the Queen rather than to an individual person. Her personal jewelry would have reverted to the crown as the goods of a traitor.
It's always bunnies.
I've stood in front of the Whitehall Family Portrait at HCP and Elizabeth is definitely wearing an A pendant so I would assume that it was handed down to her from her mother. As for the B necklace and the AB piece of jewellery that Anne was said to have owned, we just don't know what happened to them.

It's mentioned in Tracy Bormans book 'Elizabeths Women' that Elizabeth specifically posed for the Whitehall portrait wearing the A necklace too. I don't know how Elizabeth came by it though 'cos I always assumed Anne's jewellery (including the 'B' necklace) went to the Crown on her death and then possibly refashioned for Jane Seymour and become part of 'the Queens jewels' as it were. It would be nice to think that when Elizabeth became Queen she may have worn gemstones that once belonged to Anne if not the actual pieces.

It’s quite possible that it was melted down along with all the rest of the Royal jewels when Oliver Cromwell was around. If it is still around it would be worth a small fortune. However I have heard that Anne’s B necklace was buried with her? I don’t think so, if that was the case then surely the Victorians who uneathed her grave would have said something, about it. The Victorians liked horror of somesort or other, and if Snne’s neclace witth her they would have said to boost up the sheer horror of the situation
