I was thinking of what I would give Elizabeth for her birthday, a woman who could have everything she wanted (within reason). I couldn't think of anything…
I feel above all else, Elizabeth would have wanted her mother with her. I have no doubt that Anne was with her in spirit, but nothing comes close to the real thing. Many believe Elizabeth probably didn't remember her mother, as she died when Elizabeth was 3 years old, but I have memories of my father, who I haven't seen since I was 3. The memories are so vivid, for instance – I remember Christmas day, 1988, I was staring at my fathers hands, thinking how horrible and yellow they were (He smoked a lot!) I remember what gifts I was given, what clothes I was wearing etc. I think Elizabeth did remember her mother, and loved her dearly.
So, I drew this for Elizabeth, corny I know, but it is how I imagine they were when they were finally reunited in death. Anne must of been so proud of Elizabeth and all she accomplished.
What would you give Elizabeth and why?

That's a great and touching picture, very beautiful.
Above all i'd want to give Elizabeth her mother but also justice for her mother. This would be kind of impossible because almost everyone who helped bring Anne down ( e.g. Cromwell, Henry, Seymour's) were already dead. And i don't know if i'd want to hurt Henry because he was still her father and she might of loved him so i wouldn't want to hurt her that way. I just wish Elizabeth had her mother and was happy being with her. Hopefully they're together now and forever.

That's beautiful, Elliemarianna. I love how Elizabeth is snuggled up with Anne, who holds her protectively and tenderly.
I would want Elizabeth to be able to clear her mother's name and be able to speak freely of her. I would want Anne to know what Elizabeth would accomplish, and I would want Elizabeth to know that her mother still has champions nearly 500 years after her death. Most of all, I wish them eternal peace together, as I believe they are.

This is such a lovely picture!
Isn’t it?
Except when i see it i think about the scene in the Tudors where Anne and Elizabeth and looking in the fountain & pointing at the fish and Anne starts crying and that one dude who wants to assassinate her is watching.
