I hope without upsetting her unduly I could ask her to show me where her body lies to put that to rest once and for all. Then I would have her take me where she chose and tell me of all the places that were important to her. I imagine that would include Hever, Hampton etc. It would be especially nice if in this time travelling scenario all the places she knew in her lifetime were to miraculously be just as they had been back then so I could see exactly what her eyes had seen. I wouldn’t complain if the original smells were absent of course.

It would be amazing to have her show and discuss what her coronation was like and share in her moment of triumph. Visit the Tower with her on the eve of her coronation and see what her apartments were like and how exciting and festive everything would have been for her – and be reminded that the place also played a part in her greatest success, not just her downfall.

We’re time travelling right? Cuz I’d really like to see these places as they looked when Anne was alive. I would want Anne to take me to all the places where she lived and/or visited during her lifetime. Included on my list, would be the Netherland’s Court and the French Court where she was educated and influenced as a young woman.

I’d like to see how the ordinary people lived. Look round workshops and farms.I’d be less intereasted in the nobility if I only had a limited time in which to see Tudor England.
I agree, Anyanka. We know so much about noble and royal life, I would want to get on the ground insight into everyday, social life. I would have a lot of questions of division of labour, gender roles, economics, politics, and the harship of being one of the populous. This was the life of my ancestors, and I would want personal experiences to better understand their culture and surroundings.
I would appreciate seeing the inner workings of court life, but only if I had sufficient time.

I thought the Queens house which is there now is not the one from Anne’s time? I may be wrong but I am sure I read or heard or something that the royal quarters of Anne’s time had been demolished later.

That’s why I wanna go to Hever & The Tower of London so bad, to see exactly what she once saw.
If it’s of any use, at all Mya, my brother stayed in the very room in the Queens house where Anne spent her last days on earth.
Actually Anne’s apartments at the Tower are no longer there. The royal palace was situated south of the White Tower.
The current Queen’s house dates from a later period than Anne’s execution. There are many rumours about Anne staying in the Queen’s House, but it is one of the Victoria myths that persist. The Victorians wanted to see history, so many “made-up” pieces were created to satisfy their curiosity.
Here’s a short video which explains it much better:

That’d be amazing to stay there.
If I ever get married I’ve already decided the destination will be Hever, I’ve read you can have weddings there, right?
What an amazing place to have a wedding! It would be a surreal experience. If it ever happens, perhaps an invite!!!! Just Joking!

I know that I won’t be able to visit Hever anytime soon but maybe 5,6 years from now I will, I was on the Hever official website this mourning and now I want to go even more badly – the garden’s and the fountains! Oh, it all looks so beautiful.
