Do you guys think Anne would be happy/proud with us keeping her & her spirit alive? Do you think she ever expected that her name would live on and have die-hard fans like us at this forum?….

I think she'd be happy that there are people so far in the future that would fight so hard to clear her name of all the lies said about her and give others the real truth about Anne Boleyn. I think she'd be especially happy and proud of none other than Claire who set up this forum and allowed us to come here and post our little hearts out. Smile

I think Anne would be flabbergasted by this forum.  Anne would be shocked to see how many people do not buy into the false charges laid against her so many years ago.  At the end of her life, Anne must have felt so alone.  She had been denounced by just about everyone.  Claire has done a phenominal job of giving us a way to voice Anne's innocence.  A voice that was denied to Anne.  Today, I think she would feel redeemed.

I think Anne, once she got over her disbelief at the whole concept of the www, would be excited and pleased to be such a hot topic still. She would be an avid poster too don’t you think. All her ideas and the real low down on what happened way back when. I think her main emotion though would be incredible pride at her daughter’s achievements and the place in history Elizabeth claims to this day.
I just keep imagining a post from Anne haha wouldn’t it be amazing?

I think she’d be extremely happy that there are people who still care after such a long time and people that strive to clear her name. History and Anne herself is such a huge part of me and my outlook on life and it’s amazing how just one woman can inspire sooo much. I swear if there is ever a time machine made then i WILL travel just to see her and i’ll pay any price and i’d let her know how many people there are that support her and know the truth even when others didn’t.

So many times I’ve thought about this and I could say with certainty that Anne would be completely amazed that ANYONE in 2012 would even remember her. I’m sure on that awful day of 19th May 1536 Anne thought that not one person would ever remember her in a few short years even Elizabeth let alone people living in the 21st century.
It is amazing BUT Anne was an amazing person.
I will always keep the SIX wives memories alive because they ALL played a part in English and world history, Anne especially shaped our lives today here in the UK…..God Bless her.

I rather think you are right here Maggyann. Anne I believe would have probably adapted to the modern world fairly well, although it might take her a bit of time getting used to Aeroplanes and space travel etc. LOL Could you really see us all popping in for a cup of tea and a biscuit at her house? I tell you what though she would be brilliant to take clothes shopping as she had a flair for picking out exactly the right type of clothes to suit a person. Yeah like you I think Anne would feel a tremendous sence of pride in what Elizabeth acheived. England was a mess when Henry, Edward and Mary, left it, Elizabeth picked England up and shook off all the crumbs, and rebuilt an England to be proud of. Yeah it’s a choatic crazy mixed up England but it works and it’s my home, and Elizabeth made it possible to call it my home.
As it says in Anne of a Thousand Days. My Elizabeth will build a greater England than you could ever build, and my blood will be well spent.

Sophie. Yep you are right. Each wife holds a memory in everyone heart. However Anne B was without doubt one of the most forward thinking, free spirited woman of her age, as I said above Anne would have adapted to the modern age, we wouldn’t know the difference after a while that she had lived in any other period of time.

You are all wonderful people to be rooting for Anne today. You’ve made me laugh and cry alternately to read all your posts. A biscuit and tea for you all the friends of Anne? she would throw a ball for you all! And you’re all right when you said that Anne would love our century. God bless the England that Elizabeth built, your home and hers. 😉
