I do, too, but can't take credit for it. I saw it on another message board I post on about TV, when we were nitpicking the series every week. Which started with the first scene of the first episode. “His uncle?!? He didm't have a flippin' uncle! Not alive when he was king, anyway.” Ahh, that was a fun 4 years…
Could they have meant an Aunt's Husband?
More than likely though they just made an Uncle up.

That's right- uncle?!!!!! I think I blocked the start of the Tudor's out of my memory.. or the scene with Margaret and Brandon on the ship together blocked it out- I think I fainted a bit when I saw Henry Cavill with his shirt off!
The show is made more confusing to me by grafting Mary and Margaret together (Marygret- genius!) and placing her in Portugal etc as I just can't understand how the producer's thought it was a good idea!

Nitpicky…I know…
Anne of York was married when H8 became king as was another sister of Elizabeth Catherine of York.

Whoops, I forgot about them too!
Ann of York was married to Thomas Howard, 2nd Earl of Surrey, later 3rd Duke of Norfolk. Anne's “piece of work” uncle. So he was Anne's uncle as well as Henry's. (albeit through marriage)
The uncle who died was Catherine of York's husband, William Courtney. He was attained in 1504 by Henry VII. Henry VIII was fond of him and made made him the Earl of Devon barely a month before his death in June 1511.
