I still don't see what any of this has to do with Anne Boleyn….
I think Bella has hit the nail very securely on the head and nothing more needs to be said to encourage this thread any further.
I agree and I give up.
I'm out. I think this one goes back to the wisdom of my kindergarten teacher when she taught us to “ignore inappropriate behavior and they'll most likely just go away”.
But, then again, maybe my kindergarten teacher was just another member of the Illuminati 😉

The only link to Anne Boleyn that I can see is that capraquarious is asking us to prove him or her wrong. You cannot prove a negative – which was what the supremely intelligent Queen Anne realised when she was taken to the Tower – she could not prove that she had NOT committed adultery. Therefore, as the judges were keen to follow what they thought were Henry's wishes, she was doomed.
Do I get a star for managing to get us back on topic?!

I don't know if it's the same group as the anneboleyn.com group–allthough some of the ideas seem like they might have come from there, but I have noticed that this poster hasn't responded to any other post on this entire forum which just tells me that he (I'm pretty sure we're dealing with a he) isn't really interested in being a real, productive member of this community. Even though I don't necessarily agree with the ideas from that group, I hope that this person is not representative of the people involved with them.
When you come making accusations, then the burden of proof lies with you. It is not my responsibility to go dig up your “proof” for you nor do I have that kind of time because
(wait for it….)
I have a life.
I have no desire to make anyone feel unwelcome. We have created a respectful community around here that is pretty accepting of lots of theories surrounding the motivations that drove people to do what they did, but I also expect newbies to demonstrate the same respect and courtesy that I think we pride ourselves on. I think we also expect to be challenged by each other when our arguments are flimsy, and we have succeeded in doing that without creating huge name-calling wars and, as far as I know, no one has left the board because they were upset or angry about something that was said. I am friends with many of you on Facebook which basically means I let you into my life, and I certainly wouldn't do that if I thought you were crazy.
But when a person's first post is not only based on theories that are a little “out there”, but it is written in such a way as to be condescending and disrespectful of others on the board, then I don't want you around here and I will not necessarily be kind.
