Thinking about this red rose mystery, do we actually want to know who it is or do we actually want to keep the mystery? Half of me does want to know but the other half likes this mystery surrounding Anne, the whole thing of it fits so well around Anne as she is a total enigma.
I agree a part of me wants to know, but then all the mystery would be gone, It’s a little like christmas presents they all look so inviting and full of promise with their wrapping on, but once the wrapping is removed there is no longer that mystery, this mystery I think is one of them, best to leave it wrapped up. Whoever it is he/she only does what we would all like to do, celebrate and revere Anne for all that she was, and for what her legacy, Elizabeth, gave us. Britain, and the other countries of the world, would not be as they are if Elizabeth hadn’t of been Queen.

Whoever it is that has been sending the roses to Anne’s grave every year for so many years has my heart. I think it is such a lovely tribute to Anne. In a way I would like to know who it is, but then again I sort of like the mystery of it.
I remember that roses were sent to Marilyn Monroe’s grave every year after she passed. Only after he died did we learn that it was Joe DiMaggio who had been sending them. So sweet.
