Iwas just wondering if anyone is planning on going to the Tower of London on the 19th May? I'm not one of the lucky few going on this years anne boleyn tour but i'm still going to pay my respects on the 19th. Is anyone else going too and would people be interested in meeting up as a group?

I'm such a muppet – just realised that it's actually a Thursday and I'll be working too! Hmm…probably should have checked this out before asking people to meet up!!!Looks like i'm going to have to make it a weekend, belated journey after all

The Executed Queens Tour group will be at the Tower from around 10.30 until late afternoon and we should be pretty unmissable. As I said, I'll be wearing my B necklace and I'll also be carrying a cream bag with a square “Executed Queens” logo on it (portraits of Anne Boleyn, Catherine Howard, Lady Jane Grey and Mary Queen of Scots). Please don't be afraid to come and say hi.

I'll say hi as I intend to stop by; I'll be avoiding the Beefeaters, for sure – when I asked one of them last year who left the roses for Anne each year I got the rather succinct reply of, 'Bloody weirdoes!'

I'll be in London (seeing Phantom of the Opera in the evening!) but I don't know if I'll make it to the Tower. I will be wearing my B necklace though 🙂

I really do wish that I could go, but it would be too much to then get back to pick my daughter up from school.
Out of interest, those who are going, are you going to try to do the same walk (If it is known) that Anne would have taken to the Scaffold.
