I can’t remember being moderated her before…
I think it might be a another way of trying to stop these damn scammers that appear from time to time Anyanka. Although to be fair Tim’s scam mallet is brilliant but now and again you do get 1 or 2 of the pesky little gremlins still getting through.

I’ve seen and reported a few spam threads recently.
It doens’t seem to be affecting my posts ATM..is it just for newbies??

I have had to report a few scammers as well, they really are pesky little blighters.

Regarding the comment moderation notice, this has been removed by Tim. It got added when we recently changed the way our comments work to make them compatible with the latest website software, but should not have been showing up on the forum pages. Tim says we’ve always had comment moderation enabled, and that it’s pretty sophisticated in protecting us from the bad guys. The combined anti-spam measures we have are working well, in that they have stopped 1.5 million spam and hack attempts in the last year, and 12 million spam comments since the Anne Boleyn Files was started. It’s the crazy world we live in!
