CHE has been writing a series of books called the Morland Dynasty.(http://www.cynthiaharrodeagles…..od_eagles/)
With my first pay-check( in 1980)I bought The Founding.I've been following the stories ever since. CHE likes strong female characters. A lot of the action in the ealier books occurs around the royal courts too.
I'm re-reading these stories. I'm starting with ” The Founding“
It's always bunnies.

Oh! I've got the complete collection of these too. To be fair to CHE the early ones were published before a lot of the more modern research on Anne was published. This does mean that George isn't gay (yay!) and no one believes the incest charge.
I seem to remember that the story about TB remarrying comes from Agnes Strickland and I have a feeling the mistake about which Lord Borough KP marries came from the same source – though I'm happy to be corrected! The series finishes this year with book 34 as the publisher has, apparently, pulled the plug. The earlier books are great – but the later ones get a bit bogged down in detail, particularly as there's a member of the family involved in virtually every major social event you can think of.

That is an the most annoying thing, Anne fan. When you can predict which members of the family were going to be on the Titanic…you've read too many of her books.
The joy of having a straight George is a good thing. I'm currently reading Jean Plaidy's The Sixth Wife and have to remember it was published in 1953.
It's always bunnies.

I think you might be right Anne Fan about the Thomas Boleyn remarrying story coming from Agnes Strickland as I read that he remarried a farmer's daughter in another book about Anne Boleyn that was first published in the early 60s. The author did cite Strickland as her source. Wonder where Strickland got her info on that one.
