Hi All
OK, here's another one of my burning passions – to glean more on Nonsuch Palace. I think it apeals to me because it is so mystical being so far removed IYKWIM.
I know there was a big archaeological dig sometime back in the 60's (I think) and a few scant drawing designs from the day in existence somewhere!
There's very little known about the palace aside that which can be found in the usual Tudor history archives. I just wondered if anyone else has interest in this palace or any information on it, exactly where it can be found, can you visit the site, records of the 60's dig etc?
Thanks in advance!

Because someday I hope to get to England, I have all this stuff on different places I want to investigate…big sigh…I found this in one of my bookmarked pages. I don't know if you have seen it or not. You can visit the grounds during the day. This page has instructions on how to get there. It's a shame that Charles II's mistress Barbara Palmer, Lady Castlemaine tore this palace down to pay off her gambling debts. She was something else.
