Everyone reading this already knows something about me. They know I have enough of an interest in Anne Boleyn to get this far into this site. But, like most of you, my interests go so far beyond that! I don’t think I qualify as an historian, I have never been to England ( I am from the USA), and I am wrong a lot of the times.
I feel that a forum like The Anne Boleyn Files should be a place where someone like me can learn from everyone, novice and great historian alike, as much as they can about a period in history that has for their own personal reasons captured their hearts.
Thank you,

Quite right, None of us can claim to be a bone fide historian, we are merely a bunch of old scallywags, who enjoy a good debate etc. and having a giggle or 2 along the way. You will learn a lot on this site I know I have. Anyanka, Sharon, Olga and one or 2 others are goldmines of information, as well as being very dear freinds. I’ve said this before, on another forum, but I wonder did our benfactress (Claire Ridgeway) have any clue on just how big her forum site would grow? I’m amazed on just how many people from all over the world there are that have become members, and I treasure each and every member.
The good thing about this forum is that it isn’t all about Anne B. we can bounce all sorts of ideas about from other periods in history too, and some of the ideas and feelings that are expressed can certainly make you think. Guess that the beauty of the internet it puts you intouch with people who you would never usually meet, in the normal course of things. Anyhow I waffling bad habit of mine… Oh if I mention Dinosaur or fidgets, in any of my postings it’s what I call my husband and my kids.. It not meant in a nasty way though, just my pet names for them. By the way Welcome aboard……
Semper Fidelis, quod sum quod
Thank you. I have been a member for a long time, and I use the site a lot. I feel I have reached a point were I have questions that I can’t get from books, only from like minded individuals, those being open minded ones.
I have tangents too… Please do stop me!
