And that ends my French. Almost!
I'm a SAHM of 3 children.
I'm an avid reader when not on-line.
Apart from Milady Anne and the Middle Ages/Renaissence, my current intereasts are World War I and the sufferage movements.
My fave tv shows are Dr Who( old and NuWho), Torchwood, Buffy, Angel and Hell's Kitchen, historical documenteries.
It's always bunnies.

Hello and welcome to the world of Anne Boleyn nuts lol. I learned French at school and i'm surprised at how much I remembered over a decade later when I was in France and needed help in the street.
Good choice in TV….I too love historical documentaries and Hells Kitchen is awesome! I have a lot of Gordon Ramsey books and have even tried to make his recipes which have had great results!
What sparked your interest in Anne then?
Even though I scaped past my “O” level French, I manage to get by for the most part. I do need to take lessons though.
I don't have any of GR's books yet.But I have been told they are very easy to follow. Maybe I'll sneak one onto my Christmas order.
As for Anne, I had to do a report on a historical person for history when I was in First year at comp (age 11, grade 6 for US/Can). So I picked Anne. Of course, it wasn't very in depth but it did spark an intereast in the whole Tudor era which has never left me 35 yrs later.. And I got an A.
It's always bunnies.

Sorry this is a bit late, but welcome!! We're always happy to have new members to talk more about our amazing Anne and her fellow Tudors!! I've never been to Canada but my friend is a constant visiter and she loves it…as for French, well, bonjou! And that's about it. Writing's okay but pronounciation has caused a lot of laughs and muttered “Américain”s! Again, welcome to the forum and site and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
