Yeah, someone tried to exonerate Anne in 2009 I believe, but it was turned down. The excuse was that there was not enough evidence to prove whether she was guilty or not. Doesn't hurt to try again though.
"It is however but Justice, & my Duty to declre that this amiable Woman was entirely innocent of the Crimes with which she was accused, of which her Beauty, her Elegance, & her Sprightliness were sufficient proofs..." Jane Austen.

This is always going to be a difficult one.. If we try to get Anne exonated, then we will also have to include George, Mark Smeaton, Henry Norris and William Bererton. as they were all accused with her. Yes Anne was innocent, but finding the proof will be extremely difficult to find. Especially as the only records we have to go on from Tudor times declare her guilty.
I wish you luck however, and it would be a wonderful thing to do if we can get our Anne exonated, but I think it will be a very tough uphill battle to fight.

I personally think the fight would be worth it.
None of the people executed were guilty. (IMO)
The people connected with her in the accusations were railroaded the same as Anne was.
Henry was mad because she miscarried her son … Cromwell tried to claim Anne was having affairs, and forced confessions out of other innocent people, who all died because of Hank’s greed and lust.
I think they would all be pleased to know people were trying to have all their names exonerated.
There is a site which asks for Anne’s ‘pardon’ — but to be pardoned simply means the person is guilty, but forgiven. Anne did nothing to be executed for, and IMO, neither did those poor souls who were claimed to be her lovers.
EXONERATION — let’s fight for it.

Anne is innocent but shouldn’t Anne’s family do this if this is what they want? I’m sorry I sound so uncaring about this but sometimes things are better left as they are……
Respectfully, I must disagree.
Anne was falsely depicted and murdered as a ‘wh*re’…. her family was interested only in keeping what treasures Henry had bestowed upon them as a result of having Mary bed down with him;’ they would certainly not fight Anne’s false conviction and face losing it all, as well as their own lives.
I must ask:
If YOU were falsely accused, and died… wouldn’t you want someone else to step up to the plate and say “NO — she was NOT like that at all” ? I know I would, and God only knows I have been falsely accused of things during my lifetime. But I am still alive to fight back. Anne is not, unfortunately. So I feel it is up to us who admired her spunk to fight on her behalf to clear her name.

Anne wasn’t guilty. Why would she need pardon? You’ve all exonerated her in your hearts. What more’s needed? Afterall, that’s what it means in the end. And it’s what she finds precious to her, your faithful steadfast love.
Darn right Anne was not guilty. She needs no ‘pardon’. she needs exoneration. The ones who should be condemned are Henry and Cromwell…. and when Cromwell lost his head on the orders of Henry, I wonder what he thought about himself?

Annefan, perhaps Cromwell made his peace with God. And Anne, knowing her enemies as she did, had the largesse to forgive him before she died. I’m sure that an eventual exoneration will pass in time to come, due to all of you battling so hard for her. Deeply moved she must be.
I would certainly hope so.
