Hi everyone!
My name is Karen. I'm 30 (eek!) and am married with 3 beautiful boys.
I have had a passion for history since I was a little girl when my parents would take me to castles and my dad was great at telling Ghost Stories (ghost hunting is another hobby of mine!). I first learnt about the Tudors in primary school and it has become, without a doubt, my favourite period in history. I don't know why, but I was always drawn to Anne Boleyn and watching Showtime's The Tudors has just reinforced my fascination all over again.
I now just want to research Anne more and visit the places asscociated with her so I was so glad when I came across this site.
So, hello everyone and I can't wait to read all your facts and views and learn more about my icon

Hi Karen and Welcome to the forum!
I was a bit like you in that I was interested in Anne Boleyn at school but definitely 'The Tudors' really encouraged me to read in more depth about the historical Anne and it seems that the more I read, the more fascinating and complex her story becomes.
