What a delicious site this is!
Kudos to Claire for providing us a place to learn and dialog about this fascinating lady.
I have been studying the Tudors since my late teens (about 30 years now) but never tire of it. I remember my first trip to England and how my parents reluctantly allowed me to get on a train to visit Windsor Castle all alone as they had plans. After touring the Castle I went in search of Henry's resting place. I remember approaching one of the staff and excitedly asking where I could find Henry VIII as I had come all the way from Albuquerque to see him. Without batting an eye he pointed down the hill and said ” You'll find him down the way on the right Ma'am but I can't think that he”ll be quite as anxious to see you.” 😉
I am currently reading A History of the Four Georges, Volume 4 by Justin McCarthy. Absolutely absorbed by this series and kind of sad to be on the last volume. Was looking for a good read about Anne when I found this site which is now safely nestled into my favorites list.
Thanks again Claire and I look forward to searching every nook and cranny of your site.
Regards,
Cynthia
