I’ve been interested in, reading about and boring my friends about the Tudors now for approximately 25 years, wow didn’t realise it was that long until it I just worked in out. I started my interest in history with Richard III and being very much a Yorkist (probably because I’m originally from Yorkshire, and yes I know that historically this isn’t necessarily correct). I was also interested in the Tudors at the same time and realised that actually Richard had plenty of supporters and I should find a different cause. I read every novel that Jean Plaidy wrote and discovered Anne Boleyn and started to read the biographies. It was about the same time that Professor Ives’ first book came out, I received that for Christmas and was well and truly hooked!

I’m looking forward to reading and joining in some of the discussions.
