Hi
Im Jonny, i come from Lowestoft in Suffolk UK and i am 14, (i dont know if im a young one here or not)
I've always loved History and have been interested in Anne for about 2-3 Years, I have read a few Biographys, (Eric Ives and Joanna Denny have been my favirotes) and have just started reading after getting it for christmas, The lady in the tower, the fall of anne boleyn by Alison Weir
I am a big fan of 'The Tudors' tv series, and love Natalie Dormers portrayal as Anne, i have watched both the BBC version of the other boleyn girl and the one with Natalie Portman init, but found them not to the quality of 'the tudors'
I have been to Blickling Hall (as it is near me) and Hampton Court but still i am pestering parents to take me to the Tower and Hever
I look forward to posting and learning on these forums.
Thanks
Jonny

Hi Jonny,
Welcome to The Anne Boleyn Files. I'm a Brit too but I've never actually been to Suffolk, I grew up in the Midlands. Keep pestering your parents to take you to the Tower and Hever, it's great to walk in Anne's footsteps. You'll just have to emphasise how educational the visits would be!!
I too prefer Natalie Dormer to Natalie Portman. Have you watched \”Anne of the Thousand Days\”? Genevieve Bujold is a great Anne Boleyn too.
Speak soon!

That's so tough!! I think perhaps the Tower because there's so much to see and because it's Anne's resting place but Hever is beautiful too. Have a browse at their websites – http://www.hevercastle.co.uk and http://www.hrp.org.uk/toweroflondon/ and see which one appeals to you. Also, if you went to the Tower, you could also tie in some other London attractions.

Hey Jonnye 29,
Welcome to the AB files.
I have been to the Tower and highly recomend it, I spent an entire day there as there was so much to see.
It is possible to go to where Queen Anne is buried, the Chapel of Saint Peter Ad Vincula, its by guided tour until 4PM.
At the White Tower in the Tower of London, you can see actual suits of armor worn by King Henry VIII and Charles Brandon's lance from jousting is on display there also, really cool!
If it was not this, then it would be something else?

Hi,
My name is Abby Lyn, and I was born in Kent, England, but I am french as well, and I'm 12, and I have also been like obsessed with Anne since I was 10. She is my hero, and I've been to many places where either Anne Boleyn had lived, or ''visited''. I have many of the Anne biogaraphies, one I specifically like is Eric Ives' Anne Boleyn, the Most Happy. I also love Elizabeth, but Anne is my idol. My friend and I are writing a series called “The Boleyns”, and it's mainly about Anne, but it's made into four books. If anyone can give me a few ideas opf excitement that youo would think that would happen in her time, please tell me, because I have already finished the first one, so now i'm onto the second. So yeah, if you can give me any ideas that would help so much.

Hi Jonny and Abby! I'm Hannah. I'm an American so I've never been to any of the famous Tudor places but I hope to visit them all someday! Jonny, I have Joanna Denny's biography and love it, and I'm hoping to get her book on Catherine Howard too. I also just ordered Eric Ives' book but I haven't gotten around to reading it yet!
And Abby, I think that's great! I'm 17 and I think it's so cool that others near my age are also interested in Anne Boleyn. It's pretty rare! I hope you guys enjoy the site as much as I have
