Hi everyone.
I have been coming to this board for just over a year now and have made a couple of posts, but never actually introduced myself. So, hello! My name is Sarah and I live in Hull, East Yorkshire, UK. My interest in Anne Boleyn goes back to when I was on holiday in London with my family when I was about 8 or 9 years old. I can remember visiting the Tower of London and being in the Chapel of St Peter Ad Vincula just staring at Anne's grave. i wasn't quite sure why and I didn't know that much about Anne, but something just made me stand there transfixed. Almost 30 years later I am still fascinated by this woman and the age in which she lived.
I am so glad this site exists, so thank you Claire for all the time and effort you put into it. And it's great to know there are other like-minded people out there!
regards,
Sarah xxx

Yes, I think I have seen you round the boards! But welcome to the AB Files anyway
My interest in Anne goes back to when I was ten and went on holiday with my family and we visited the Tower as well! (I'm now 34!) There's something about the Tower of London and Anne's story that just leaves a huge impression on you, isn't there?

Hi, Sarah! I too have seen you around the forum, but still, welcome 🙂 My interest in Anne and the Tudors began at age 8 as well, actually, though I didn't visit Anne's grave for about another 2 years-it was a book that got me started on Anne. Anyway, welcome again and have fun on the AB Files!

Hi Sarah,
Thank you for your kind words, I'm so glad that you enjoy using the site. I think my dream of The AB Files becoming a community rather than just a website has been fulfilled. There is a great bunch of people on here and everyone is so friendly.
It is so strange how Anne's story grabs us the way it does and how her resting place meant something to you when you were only a little girl. I'm always being asked why I'm so fascinated by Anne and it is so hard to put into words! Anyway, welcome!
