Henry: Mistress Anne, will you teach the king of England how they dance in the French court?
Anne: There is nothing that France can teach England, your majesty.
King Henry VIII: Well said. Well said.

Hi Lizzie,

Welcome to the AB Files and the forum! Alison Weir's “The Lady in the Tower” is a great read and you're right about the execution bit, it does make you hold your breath. Did you watch “The Tudors”? I thought they did Anne's execution brilliantly, I sob every time I see it.

I'm on Facebook personally – I'm Claire Ridgway, I've got long brown hair, a pinky/peachy top on and Anne Boleyn is sitting on my shoulder (don't ask!) – and I also run the Anne Boleyn Files page there – http://www.facebook.com/theann…..oleynfiles. Whenever I post an article on the site it shows up on Facebook but people are also free to write on the wall, add videos, pictures etc. I'm also on Twitter –

Anyway, welcome! Smile

Hi Claire, pleased to meet you, and everyone else.

I haven't seen the Tudors series. To be honest I avoided it because I heard of all the inaccuracies. That said, after reading what people have said about it on this site, I think I'll give it a go. At the end of the day, as long as we all know what the truth was eh?

Thanks for the info regarding facebook etc.Cool
