Hello all,
My name is Carrie. I live in the US and I've been a fan of Tudor history since my first World History class.
I had a great teacher who brought Henry and his wives to life for me. Thinking back, he got the stories of the wives mixed up a bit (he told us that it was Anne, not Catherine Howard who practiced for her execution), but the stories have stayed with me for the past 8 years. I visited the Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace in 2006, and while I have visited England twice since, I can't wait to go back! I recently rediscovered my interest in this subject and found this fabulous website. I'm currently reading Eric Ives' 'The Life and Death of Anne Boleyn' and am working my way through the second season of The Tudors. I can't wait to learn more about Tudor history and the fascinating Anne Boleyn.

Hi Carrie! Welcome to the AB Files and the forum. I love it here and I hope you will too 🙂
How do you like The Life and Death of Anne Boleyn? I'm reading it too right now (but re-reading it, for about the tenth time!) and I consider it the best of Anne biographies by far. Tell us how you like it!

Hi Carrie,
Welcome to the AB Files, it's great to meet you. My Eric Ives book is pretty much always open and is getting rather battered as I use it so much. It is THE Anne Boleyn book and is so comprehensive, you can always rely on Ives to have the info you're looking for.
How are you enjoying The Tudors? I loved Season 2 and felt that 3 was a bit of an anticlimax after 2. Enjoy!
