I am so excited to have stumbled upon this magnificent webiste! I sometimes wonder what Anne would think about having a website devoted to her…It's an interesting thought.
As for me, I am from the U.S. and live in the Midwest. I love literature and history, especially Tudor and Elizabethan. I sometimes wish we still dressed like they did, and had the same courtesis and formalities. I like order 🙂 So basically, I love to read and write and enjoy history, among other things, including music! I feel these are very Tudorian subjects to be interested.
So, hello again! I'm excited to meet you all.

Hi and welcome, JWold77! What part of the midwest do you live in? I know that personally, living in the US, I'm quite jealous of everyone here who lives in the UK 🙂 Which are your favorite Tudor books, may I ask? Anyway, welcome to the forum!
I am from North Dakota, probably the most remote and least Tudor-like place of them all! I must say, that I throughly enjoy anything Alison Weir has published on the Tudors, especially Lady in the Tower.
Also, to everyone who welcomed me, thank you very much! I'm excited to be a part of this forum.

Hi JWold77 and welcome to my fave forum, I have to agree with you their period of time must have been great to live in (although I do like nowadays technology and freedom of speech etc) but the clothes were definitley something!!
Enjoy being on here!
Thanks! And being a woman who loves fashion, I think the clothes were magnificent! Even the men's clothing. We've gotten so casual. However, I appreciate modern freedoms and liberties like everyone else. But maybe a corset or two wouldn't hurt, haha.
