Hi to everyone, just joined.
I love all kinds of history. I am currently having a splurge on biographies but I am reading through the Morland Dynasty by Cynthia Harrod-Eagles which consists of around 34 books. They are about a fictional family and span War of the Roses to WW1 and she is currently writing another.
I have just read Antonia Fraser's Six Wives of Henry VIII which I highly recommend if you have just watched the Tudors and would like a more, shall we say, historically correct and thoroughly researched document!

Hello and Welcome, cj1234.
You are enthusiastic to read the entire Moreland Dynasty. Good luck to you. I am not sure if I could handle that.
Antonia Fraser's book is great. David Starkey and Eric Ives are two other great reads, but I would say that about most Tudor books.
Bye for Now!

Hello and welcome to the AB Files! Hope you love it as much as we all do here 🙂 Like Claire is known to say, we're a bunch of very friendly Tudor nuts. I too enjoyed Antonia Fraser's Six Wives; have you read Alison Weir's, out of curiosity? I thought Fraser's was superior, but then, ever since Lady in the Tower my respect for Weir as a historian has diminished. Merry Christmas!
