Welcome, Karol!! Both the site and forum (and the sister site/forum, Elizabeth Files, for Anne’s daughter) are wonderful, and I hope you’re on here as much as I am! -You will get addicted :)-Are you in particular an Anne fan or everything Tudor/Henry’s other wives? I’ve never been to Brazil but I hope to one day soon!
Again, welcome and I hope you have fun on here!

Thanx everybody!!! I’m felling sooooo welcome here!
Besides winning loads of World Cup, Brazil has many wonderful beaches, florests and in my city, Sao Paulo, wonderful night life!! 😀
The topic ‘history’… well, I don’t like that much Brazilian’s History. An portuguese guy came here in 1500 and met loads of ‘indios’, stole some gold to pay something and used the natives as slaves. :/ Not much interesting… We’re still a young country if you compare to Europe.
But I love my country and I’m pride of the changes that we’re doing…
I’m not a particular Anne fan. I like everything about Tudor. I read a lot about that but my fave wife is Anne for sure!
xoxo Karol

Oi Karol! Como vai? Acho que a História do Brasil durante o Século XX é muito interessante, com golpes e um suicídio presidencial e um impeachment — é como uma novela!
(“Hi Karol! How are you? I think the history of Brazil during the 20th century is very interesting, with coups and a presidential suicide and an impeachment — it's like a soap opera!”)
I studied Brazilian history and literature in graduate school (pós-graduação), so I have my biases. I wrote a novel (romance) based on the life of João Goulart, otherwise known as Jango, who was president of Brazil from 1961 to 1964. It needs more polish and a bit more research, but it's about 80% done. The trouble is getting to Brazilian archives to finish the work.
History is wonderful — even Brazil's. But English history is marvellous, and Anne a remarkable woman. That is something we can all agree on.
Yours as long as lyffe endures, Katheryn
