Hello everybody!

As far back as I can remember, I have been a history buff. When I was a little girl, I was passionately interested in Tudor history: I even dressed up as Anne Boleyn for Halloween when I was nine years old. By the time I went to college, though, I was more interested in Latin American history, and in grad school, my field of concentration was 20th-century Brazilian history (a veritable soap opera! Someone should make an English-language miniseries about that). However, The Tudors (what else?) has sparked my interest in Tudor England again, and it is fun to check out what is accurate and what is not. On this anniversary of Anne's death (it's still May 19 as I write in the Pacific Time Zone), I thought I would join this forum and see what it is about.
