Hello everyone,
My name is amanda i am from florida and i have two great kids. I lived in asia a few year and i have since found myself back home in the US. My greatest passion in life is History – especially European history. I love the Stuart era, Tudors (are a huge passion of mine), Elizabeth, Mary, you name is i love to read about it. I am currently getting my degree to i can start to obtain a masters in english history next year! My goal is to go to England and live there some day but first i would love to visit and explore 🙂
I can't wait to jump in!!

Welcome, Amanda! Lucky you, living in Florida, so beautiful! Where did you live in Asia? That's great that you're getting an english history degree! Definitely go explore England 🙂

I lived in Japan. My husband was in the Marine Corps and we were stationed there. I am looking at going to england in 2012 HOPEFULLY

Japan, wow! That must have been so cool and different 🙂 About England in 2012: aren't the Olympics going to be there then? Coincidentally I am also hopefully going in 2012, the summer. I wonder–will the tour sites (the Tudor attraction are the ones I want to see!) be more crowded because people will be there for the Olympics or less crowded because people will be at the Olympics??

i did not know that!!!! BOOO i want to be able to take my time – read everything see everything and maybe get some interviews at local schools so i can see about teaching and eventually moving there

HI AMANDA! I was raised in Florida … the Tampa area. How do you like it there? I also lived in Japan growing up as my dad was in the Navy. Were you stationed at Okinawa? You are so lucky you get to go to London … it's one of my dream vacations!!!
