Hello everybody 🙂
I'm from Lithuania, country in Eastern Europe. I'm interested in English history since I've seen “The Other Boleyn Girl”. After that I started reading books about Tudors and search for information in the net. I'm 18 and still learning at school. I love history classes, but we are not learning about England (just some basic facts), so I have to learn myself. I wish that one day I could come to London and visit all that interesting historical places.

Hi LTree,
Welcome to the forum and the site, it's great to have you here. I think The Other Boleyn Girl does a great job at getting people interested in Anne Boleyn but it fails miserably at telling her story. There is no evidence that Anne committed incest, poisoned anyone (or contemplated it) or miscarried a deformed foetus – great myths but just myths! Anyway, it sounds like you're enjoying finding out about the real Anne Boleyn so good for you. I hope you enjoy the site.

We are learning about Lithuanian history (which is very interesting as well!), ancient Roman and Greek history, American history and naturally European history (French, Russian, German, English etc.). But we don't particularly analize English history, so I didn't know anything about Anne Boleyn from school. But there's still one year at school left – maybe teacher will tell something
