I found this website on May 19 whilst searching the internet to see if anyone else even knew the significance of this day. Since then, it has become my favorite website. It is wonderful to find out that I am not the only one with an inexplicable feeling of affiliation to Anne Boleyn. My interest in her was sparked when I was about 11 years old and we went on a family vacation to Prince Edward Island. We toured a wax museum and I was fascinated by the figures of Henry and his wives. Anne was beautiful. My older sister told me she was a witch with six fingers who had her head cut off by her husband! Since then, I have been hooked, and learned that my sister was ill-informed. Thank you, Claire for starting and maintaining this site.

Welcome littleneck, indeed it's great to know that there are so many other Anne fans out there!
This site does become very, very addictive, and I've learned so much in my short time here from the excellent debates and discussions and Claire's reports.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I do 🙂

Hi littleneck,
Welcome to The Anne Boleyn Files. I'm so glad that you found us and that you like the site. Even at the Tower of London there was no way of knowing that it was a special day until you got into the Chapel and saw the flowers. I think it would have been good for the Tower to have a printed information sheet about Anne Boleyn which they give people at the entrance on that day. Oh well!
