Hi there everyone!
I’ve just joined this forum which I find quite exciting! (I love everything that has to do with the Tudors)
I started reading Wolf Hall a week ago. I don’t think I will finish it on time, however I will follow the discussion on the forum.
Bye for now! xx

Thanks for your welcome Boleynfan 😉 I live in the north of Spain, Asturias (a green region where you can enjoy both the mountains and the coast; it’s very similar to England) What part of Spain did you visit? By the way, where are you from?
I’ll try to finish the book asap 😉
Regards xx

Hola Moon and Stars,
I’m British but I live in Spain, however I live in completely the other end of the country in the mountains of Almeria province in Andalucia. I’ve never been to Asturias but in photos it looks very similar to Devon and Cornwall.
It’s great to have you on here so a big welcome to the site!

Thanks to everyone for your great welcome! 😉
To wreckmasterjay: Unfortunately Catherine of Aragon is not as famous here in Spain as it’s in England. Her parents “Isabel” and “Fernando” (“Los Reyes Católicos”) that is Queen Isabella I of Castile and King Ferdinand II of Aragon (The Catholic Monarchs) are the famous ones xD. Talking about their children, “Juana La Loca” (Joanna the Mad) is more famous than her sister Catherine. She’s famous because she fell “madly” in love with “Felipe El Hermoso” (Phililp the Hadsome). From my point of my, it’s a great pity that Catherine is not very well-known here. There are certain books about her, but not as many as in England 🙁
To Boleynfan: I’ve never visited the US but I hope I” go there one day 😉 Let’s see what happens with the book… the deadline is too close…xDD
To Claire: I went to Roquetas de Mar once 😉 I had such a great time there.
Bye! xx

Wreckmasterjay, I think that everybody had to be shocked by the news. I’m sure it was such a great scandal, since Charles V (Catherine’s nephew) was against this divorce and he was ruling part of Europe at the time. The Catholic Monarchs and Henry VII saw Catherine’s marriage to Arthur and then to Henry as a good oportunity to unite both kingdoms, and the divorce had to be a great fuss!
