Hi, I am so glad I found this site! I've been reading tons of books about Anne Boleyn and Elizabeth I, and I am interested in this subject of the Tudors.
I've never seen the Showtime series, but I might rent the episodes, just to see their “spin” on things….

Welcome to both the forum and the site, I'm so glad you found us. Which have been your favourite books on Anne and Elizabeth would you say?
I love The Tudors show despite its inaccuracies and the criticism it's had from people like David Starkey because I think it has done such a good job at bring the characters to life, telling their stories and also entertaining at the same time. Do watch it.

My favs are the all of the ones I've read….'The Concubine, the other Boleyn girl, the secret diary of anne boleyn, the queen's bastard(currently reading)…'
I'll try to check out the series…I know the actor playing Henry is cute….wonder how they are going to change his appearance to reflect Henry at the end of his life…? Well, good makeup artists get paid the big bucks for a reason, right?

'The Secret Diary of Anne Boleyn' is one of my favourite historical novels on Anne too! That and 'Threads.'
Oh, and DEFINITELY watch the Tudors – factually it may be all over the place but boy if it isn't compelling television!

Hello Nikki!
I'm addicted to “The Tudors” since I saw the show for the first time. It's the best I've ever seen! ♥♥♥
Here in Germany we are still waiting for the fourth season; the third one was recently released on DVD and now I have my three boxes and rewatch it again and again. I can't get enough of it!
I've seen the first two episodes of the fourth season on youtube and it seems to me that the last season is better than the third one.
We'll see.
Don't miss “The Tudors”, Nikki, you'll love it.
