I stumbled across this site one day and it's become one of my favorites! I sent Claire a link and she suggested I check out the forums here, so here I am! I'm in my early 20s and a yoga teacher and commercial model.
I've always been really drawn to strong historical females, especially \”non-dual\” women who cannot be clearly defined as good or bad, forcing us to deal with them on their own terms. Women like Cleopatra, Evita Peron, and of course, Anne Boleyn. I also cannot resist a good love story, as the sad romance of Anne and Henry VIII certainly is. I identify with Anne because I love poetry and art like she did, and am very opinionated and religious.
Hope to have some good discussion here!

Hi Melissa,
Welcome to the forum. A yoga teacher and model – sounds an exciting life! You may have noticed that I'm very opinionated too! Seem to carry my soap box round with me permanently!
It's good to have you here and thanks for that link – it was really funny!

If anyone is interested, here are my pictures from England. My webshots name is “sexxxygirl” and I hate it because it sounds like p*rn-I was like 12 when I created the account though! Anyway, here's the album: http://good-times.webshots.com….. Here is where I stayed for 4 months: http://good-times.webshots.com….. Doesn't it look like Hever Castle or Wolf Hall?

Hi Melissa,
of course I am interested in photographs, so had to have a look!
Working on the other side of the camera to you I always have an interest. It looks very serene there, it must have been a very nice time for you. Did you study in England then? I see that Wroxton have a college there.
the construction of Hever is much earlier than Wroxton and the styles and layout would be a little different. Heaver would have been constructed as a more defensive structure. I have not been to Hever yet but from what pictures I have seen and what I have read.
I hear you on the \”exciting\” thing, spending time in front of a camera, its hard work with long hours and lots of being unappreciated!
For my many sins, I also run a 1 hour photo and do work for other pro's, I have so much picture rescue to do in Photoshop every day, it is hard to work on my own stuff at home. I do picture restoration, that I Love, especially the black and white old pictures.
Claire has some of my pictures of my visit to The tower of London and Hampton Court last May on this site, I was at the tower on the 19th of May. If you are interested in seeing more, I have loads of them on my facebook look for \”ipaud Tralee\”
Best of luck with the acting, hope it works out for you.
Paudie.

Hi Paudie. I know the time-period doesn't exactly match up-I had hoped no one would call me on it! I did see your pictures here-very impressive-it sounds like a really moving experience at the Tower. And I just sent you a friend request on Facebook. Don't add me to your newsfeed though unless you want to hear from me a lot because facebook is connected to my Twitter account and I tweet a lot!

Hey there Melissa,
I have added you on facebook, have a look at my friends because some are yours too from here!
I am not the worlds greatest Facebooker or ahem, Twit…
don't twit at all and am just getting into the Facebook thing, I can build computers Mac and PC when it comes to games and social networking, I am slow!
thank you for your nice comments on the pics at the Tower, you can see many more on my Facebook page.
With the time period of Hever and Wroxton, We have lots of castles and period houses here in Ireland, I have a little interest in the periods that they were built in, I walk around them for ages, looking in all the nooks and crannies.
My fav building in the world has to be the Kolner Dom in Cologne, Germany. It got pretty blitzed in WWII but was one of the only buildings left standing after in Cologne. I have a good feeling from Notre Dame in Paris, I thing it is more beautiful inside.
It was nice to see your pictures,
Paudie.

Hi Paudie. I had to google Kolner Dom-amazing! You've been there? I love Notre Dame as well, especially since there is some iconography of my patron saint, Joan Of Arc, which you would never see here in the States. I can't wait to travel again (maybe next time Claire does the Anne Boleyn Experience). And yes, I looked at your pictures on Facebook and Claire found me there too.
