Hi everyone, my name is Esther. I think that Anne Boleyn is so inspirational – a strong, tough and ambitious woman.
She was a woman ahead of her time, not a traditional english beauty but still could be so alluring as well as being incredibly intelligent and passionate about her beliefs. Is it any wonder that her daughter became such a great queen?
I'm soon to start studying for a BA Hons Degree in History with open university. My two dreams are to work in a museum (ideally one day becoming a museum curator), and to be a recognised, published poet (maybe even bringing poetry back into the mainstream).
As some may know I am writing a very long series of poems on the life of Anne Boleyn (based on actual research and not on historical fiction like 'the other boleyn girl). It started with Anne as a little girl to her becoming the Lady Anne. Soon I will continue with Anne being made the 'Lady Marquess of Pembroke'. If anyone would like to see these poems please go to: http://www.anneboleynfiles.com…..nne-boleyn, from there on the left hand side is a list of the poems that when clicked on can reveal all the facts of Anne Boleyn in some lovely narrative poetry.
I'd be grateful of any comments on my series!
