My name is Gina and I am from Lindenhurst, USA.  I have become fascinated with Anne Boleyn after readin the Other Boleyn Girl! The movie was awful, yet the book intrigued me to dig deeper and investigate. So I have read, watched and researched as much as I can! It was kinda like M&M's for me! I couldn't stop at one!  In a wierd way, I related to Anne. My first husband sorta wore me down and I went through with the marriage more for my families happiness then for my own. Now, I may have left with my head attached, I certainly lost a large piece of myself as well.

Having a 2 year old daughter, I often think of how Anne was stripped away from her little girl when they needed each other so much.  It cuts me to the quick!

My husband is a watch freak and is on all these watch forums and sites and I felt a little left out and a bit jealous. So I vowed to find my own \”thing\” and it turned out to be Anne Boleyn.

So I hope to make lots of new friends and look forward to some great discussions!!

Wow Gina,

how much you pack in in such a short time!

Guess its true what they say about a 'New York minute\” in many ways.

We all reckoned we were the only one in the world obsessed with Anne and her life, that is until we found Claire!

It is indeed uncanny that so many like minded people can find each other on a site like this and share opinion without falling out or even approaching saying anything nasty. I found that we seem to think along the same lines and I find my self saying often \”That is what I would have said\” when I read some posts.

Mmmm, you were married to the \”March Hare\”? there are watch forums???

I had a similar experience last year and am enjoying single life very much a song around at the time \”Dream catch me\”

by Newton Faulkner

really summed it up for me;

\” There's a place I go

  When I'm alone

  Be anything I want

Be anyone I want to be…

  Dream catch me

  When I fall…

Or I wont get up at all\”

Welcome to the Land of Anne Boleyn, Gina, May you have great times here!

Paudie.

If it was not this, then it would be something else?

Welcome Gina!   Isn't it exciting to find so many others out there, around the world, to share your adoration of Queen Anne?    We all related to her somehow, and for me personally I find strength from her story.

Paudie those lyrics are so moving!

That song holds bitter-sweet memories for me…

Great sentiment though.

If it was not this, then it would be something else?
