I'm thirty-three (wow, that looks old when written down!) and live in Tauranga, New Zealand, so its summer here at the moment – lots of beautiful, hot days down at the beach!
I've been an Anne Boleyn fan since I was ten and got hooked on her story when my family took an overseas trip and we visited the Tower of London. Been back to the UK a couple of times but still haven't managed to make it to Hever castle (sob!) I'm a huge fan of Tudor history in general but Anne is definately my favourite personality!
I love this site and look forward to some really great discussions!
Hi Bella,
Welcome to The AB Files and the forum, think we need some of that summer sun here in Europe at the moment, it's soooooo cold!.
I wonder what Anne would think of how people are completely captivated by her story nearly 500 years on. She has made such an impact i¡on history and the hearts of people. Like you, I'm a Tudor history fan but Anne, followed by her daughter Elizabeth, are definitely my favourite characters.
Looking forward to getting to know you!

Yeah, I ordered The Sisters Who Would Be Queen especially from the UK last year. Being in New Zealand sometimes we have to wait months, even years, for new books to be released and that's if we get them at all. Luckily where I live there's a really fantastic bookshop that I order through (yeah, they know me very well ) and I've got an amazon uk account but I use that only rarely as it can be hideously expensive. Usually on books about Anne!
I loved The Sisters Who Would Be Queen – it was refreshing to see Jane in a less than saintly light, more a real person and it was really the first time I'd read much about Katherine and Mary. Their stories in many ways equally as sad and tragic as Janes, if not quite as dramatic!

Welcome and glad to have you on board,
We are all so nice here!!!
Jokes aside, constructive debate and a great community to be a part of.
…and Claire, I can't say enough for all the work you do, truly dedicated to all things Tudor and a great leader in our debates.
If it was not this, then it would be something else?
