Thank you Ladies! Just a little disclaimer…sometimes I post from my phone..it has this irritating self-correcting mechanism. It is like self-check with a mind of its own! What this means is that it will replace a word with another word if it THINKS that is what I mean even if it isn't…. so please have patience when that happens. I am not a dolt…my phone is!

I wrote a humorous (laugh at yourself) book about the fears and anxieties that come with being a parent. When I had my son I was terrified something would happen to him. So I started to make jokes about my own paranoia and fear. If I can find a way to laugh at something I can deal with it. Anyway at that time all the rage was postpartum depression, which is the exact opposite of my problem. So I wrote the book myself. I was offered a contract from a Publishing Firm on the East Coast, USA. It is called Postpartum Terror. They are currently hounding me for another piece of work. The first book I wrote and illustrated is a children's book, but I have yet to let a Publisher see it. It's my baby, my pride, I am not sure I can handle the possibility of it being rejected, edited within an inch of its life or just not to be accepted.
I am currently researching the Tudor Dynasty starting with Margaret Beaufort through Elizabeth. I have gone back to school for a couple more college degrees. I have one in Applied Sciences/Allied Health from when I was in my 20s. Now I am back in college to get a combined degree in Elementary & Special Education with a double concentration in History & English. Then my Masters in History. The Tudor Dynasty being my thesis. I am wanting to do a series on the Tudors.
Back to the writing, I was planning to start with a book for each of the 6 Queens and continue from there. But I may, after reading this forum, switch directions and start with George! I just love him and there is nothing out there that is just his. He is always a character in someone else's story. Hmmm. I need to mull this over….
