Hello I am new to this site and recently have been looking at Family History and see that my ancestor Anne Savage married Lord Berkeley, Anne Savage, was the daughter of Sir John Savage of Frodsham, Cheshire, it was said that Anne Savage had borne the train of Anne Boleyn, on her marriage to Henry VIII. Trying to find if this is a true fact.

Hi, Carol. You could start by looking up accounts of Anne’s wedding and seeing who is listed as being there. I think it was a small affair, so it should be somewhat easy to see if any of the sources mention her presence at the wedding. Good luck and happy sleuthing!
ETA: Just thought of something else. Could the family story have been a little garbled about when she bore Anne's train? You might also look to see if perhaps she's mentioned during Anne's coronation, or the various functions before and after the coronation.

Hi Bluebell, and welcome to the site! Everyone here is wonderful, so don't be afraid to ask. To start go to the forums at the top and just start looking. I couldn't believe how many and how vast they are! Thank you, WilesWales
