Hi Everyone,

I'm Jenny, a Brit. from Worcester, who has been based in Madrid since  the early 1980s.  I'm self-employed and work in thr tourism business but I tend to specialise in Britain (ovbviously), Spain for the discerning tourist and the Norwegian Fjords.

I have always been interested in history in general but have found so few people sharing this “hobby” which is why accidently discovering this site has really been a boon for me and since October I have learnt a tremendous amount from fellow visitors.

Sorry if I seem to have stepped on some people's toes with my comments – My training has always been to look at situations from as many points of view as possible – And as my computer is in my office, I don't have access to my books which are at home.

I have to also say that I am not a huge Tudor fan as far as dynasties are concerned although I have to admit that in the short time that the Tudors reigned, there were great upheavals and  changes in life-style – some for the good and others not.  Having said that, I am a huge fan of Elizabeth (my heroine) and feel strongly that all of Henry 8's wives were treated badly in various ways.
