Hi everyone,
I just joined the forum, but I've been reading the Anne Boleyn files website for some time now.
My name is Ilse, I'm 41 and I live in Belgium.
I was in the Tower of London on May 19th and it was a very emotional day for me. But I was sorry not to see anybody else from here.
Kind regards
Ilse

Hi Ilse,
Welcome to the AB Files and to the forum. It's such a shame that we didn't see you at the Tower on the 19th, it would have been nice to say hello. It was an emotional day but I felt so at peace when I visited Anne's resting place at the Tower and it was good to see that there were a few bunches of flowers on her tile and a bunch of roses on the glass monument.

Hi everyone! I've been visiting this incredible site for awhile now and figured it was high time I joined the forum!
My name is Noelle. My mother introduced me to Anne when I was a child. Anne was my mother's herione and she believed Anne would be a great role model for me and as with most things, she was right!
I have BA in Psychology from Syracuse University and I spent my junior year of college in London. Such an experiance! I got to see so many places I had read about-including many of Anne's sites. Come this September, I am going back to the UK to attened the University of Kent. I am taking a year long MA program in Medieval and Early Modern Studies. The university is in Canterbury so it is the ideal location! I'm very excited. There is an added bonus of being in Kent and being very close to Hever Castle which is really just icing on the cake.
Hi Noelle,
Welcome to the AB Files, it's great to have you here. That's wonderful that your mother's passion for Anne was passed on to you, she really is a fascinating character.
Not long til you're back in the UK! I had friends who attended Kent Uni and they loved it. To be close to Canterbury Cathedral and Hever will be fantastic and you'll be able to get the train to London at weekends. Enjoy your course and life in England x

I am an Aussie – married with four soon to be five kids and one grandchild. History has always been a passion and I love sites like this because it is great to be with like minded people. I have always felt Anne Boleyn was badly treated and badly misunderstood and history does her no justice. Next year while I am on maternity leave I plan to study History part time.
