I've posted this in another part of the forum but also wanted to add it here so that people know how to do it:-
To get your photo/image on forum posts and on blog comments (and some other enabled websites), you need a “gravatar” – go to http://www.gravatar.com and sign up for a free account. You can either use an uploaded picture or your webcam to capture a photo. Once you've done this, all of your posts and comments on The AB Files will automatically have your chosen image.

I just added an image to my new signature line, but all I keep seeing is an X (that horrible X LOL). I had attached a URL but I’m wondering if it worked the way it should.
Any ideas on what to do next? (I’ve been reading over the forums for an answer but haven’t found it yet — apologies if I missed it). Thanks in advance!

This photo thing does not seem to work…or is the display engine on strike today? My image uploaded fine but does not show. Let's hope time will work its magic…;-) It seems to have worked for some of you. I live in hope 😉

Gravatar is horribly buggy..It took me several atttempts to get my avatar sorted.

Yeah, I had a hard time in the beginning too. Keep trying Alison. Gravatar can be tempermental sometimes. It will work eventually.
