In our thread over on the Elizabeth Files, we were in a discussion of our favorite (and not so favorite) Elizabeths, and after asking about Angela Pleasance's cameo as the Queen in a Doctor Who episode, we got to talking about a much younger Pleasance as Catherine Howard in the old BBC series with Keith Michell. I just posted some pics of the actresses who played Michell/Henry's wives because our main question was — were they all too old to be playing who they did. So I uploaded the pics so everybody could see.
You're invited to take a look:
Henry: Mistress Anne, will you teach the king of England how they dance in the French court?
Anne: There is nothing that France can teach England, your majesty.
King Henry VIII: Well said. Well said.
