I guess with the fashion for all things vampire at the moment it was only a matter of time before someone decided to make Anne a member of the undead and take her revenge on her enemies…
That's the premise of 'Boleyn: Tudor Vampire' by S. Cinsearae. As much as I love vampire fiction (Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood being a particular favourite) I'm just not sure vamps should be allowed in Tudor England. Unfortunately I've not come across any more info on it – has anyone else heard of this book or author?

Oh man that's hilarious! Here's the description from Amazon:
The slightest tweak in history makes all the difference in its outcome… Tudor England. It is during the reign of King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. As her time in power nears an end, Anne is greatly disheartened by the false accusations of adultery, high treason and incest she is arrested for, and the cold-heartedness of her father for his lack of defense in her honor. Upon her death, she vows revenge on those who have wronged her, and the simple change of her death sentence from beheading to hanging grants her the opportunity to execute her wish on those who betrayed her. Unknown forces of inconceivable dark magic abounds. Anne discovers she has risen from her grave because of her denouncement of God just moments before her hanging, and resurrects two others from their untimely, wrongful deaths–her brother, George, and her favorite court musician and dear friend, Mark Smeaton. This unlikely trio will drive Whitehall Palace to madness, bringing those closest to Anne to their knees, begging for mercy and forgiveness. Once Anne executes her justice among those who have failed her, the last and final question will be whether Anne will finally have peace, or find comfort in haunting England forever.
Um….yeah.
Ainsi sera, groigne qui groigne.

Yes I definitely agree, every film out at the mo has vampires in it……who started this craze!!!!!!
wonder if it could be turned round so every one gets obsessed with Tudor stuff……like when Titanic came out at the cinema. Would be nice to have Anne in the papers for once wouldnt it.
Hmm, I would love if there was a Tudor craze instead of this whole vampire thing going around. Personally I have never been into vampires. I did read the first 150 pages of Twilight and then stopped because I really didn't like it. As for the Boleyn/Vampire book, yes it sounds kinda creepy…but I am really not surprised it came around.

Oh my gosh, this has to be a joke.Everybody's nuts for vampires. There is even a book called Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter.
When I think of vampires, it's not on the line of Twilight, but more of Bela Lugosi or Christopher Lee in the Hammer movies.
By the way here in the States on August 18, there is a movie coming out called Vampires Suck, in which the whole Twlight phenomeon gets spoofed. Can't wait to see it.

I agree, it's about time for the Twilight backlash. Current joke: How is Twilight like soccer (football)? Everyone runs around for two hours, nobody scores, and its billion fans insist you just don't understand. Although, that joke tends to tick off the soccer fans! My niece hates Twilight but is in high school soccer and that joke made her mad that it compared her beloved sport to that 'icky' Twilight. *sigh* I guess I really don't understand it.

I do love Twilight and the Sookie Stackhouse books and series but it is all getting slightly ridiculous. I started reading Boleyn:Tudor Vampire but I just couldn't carry on as it was so far removed from “my” Anne Boleyn and events – Anne was hanged – that I just couldn't cope with it. I have no problem with the horror genre or vampire fiction but it's all getting a bit much!
