I was reading another post on here that had a link to Alison Weir's website.  I was having a look around and saw on there that she has put some information about forthcoming books.  Here is the info direct from the website.

Alison has now commenced work on her fourth novel – a sequel to Innocent Traitor with an unusual sub-plot (2012), which tells the story of Lady Catherine Grey (above) – and her fifteenth non-fiction book, a major project telling the epic story of England's Medieval Queens, from Matilda of Flanders to Elizabeth of York (2013).

Coming later: The Queen and Lord Robert, a sequel to The Lady Elizabeth (2014) and (non-fiction) Rose Without A Thorn: The Fall of Katherine Howard (2015).

I cant wait for the novel about Elizabeth and Lord Robert in 2014 & the non-fiction book in 2015 !!!!  I loved the Lady Elizabeth when that was released and i just love any book about Katherine Howard.

Applogies if ths has been posted already or people have seen this info already

Sounds good… I haven't read a book devoted to KH so that should be interesting. I love The Lady Elizabeth too. I'm curious to see if they can beat the previous cover!

I wish to confess to you and tell you my secret, which is that I am no angel. -Queen Elizabeth I

I'm not such a great fan of Alison Weirs historical novels, Innocent Traitor wasn't too bad but I just couldn't warm to her Elizabeth.  Kinda looking forward to the novel about Katherine Grey though.

Gah, her one about Katherine Howard is four years away!  That's a heck of a wait – I think I'd prefer to not know anything about it until a couple of months before it's released!

The Joanna Denny one about Katherine Howard isn't too bad but probably the definitive one is Lacey Baldwin Smiths' Catherine Howard.  Also known as A Tudor Tragedy.

I don't necessary love Alison Weir's historical novels either. It's just that they seem to vary so much. For instance, I actually loved The Captive Queen, but I thoought Innocent Traitor was a little iffy–I didn't love the main character, Lady Jane Grey, and I too had a hard time warming to Elizabeth. I haven't read The Lady Elizabeth yet. But who knows, I'm looking forward to the next one too in case it's as good as The Captive Queen
