I have read all 3. I enjoyed them all. The last one, By Royal Decree, tells the story of William Parr and Elizabeth Brooke. (niece of Wyatt's wife, Elizabeth Brooke) Their story is closely related to the shifts in religion during the Tudor reigns of Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary and Elizabeth. Depending what the religion of the monarch was at the time, determined whether these two were married to each other or not. They went through hell.
Kate Emerson does a great job of telling a story and sticking to history. I hope she continues to write about the women of this time. The first book tells the story of Jane Popincourt. The second is about Nan Bassett.
She has a list of women of the time and who they were and how they were connected to the court.
