The Twilight series. I refuse to call it a saga.
OK I admit I haven't read it, but I did open up to a random page in a shop one day and I nearly threw up with its soppiness and I couldn't believe it was written by an adult. High school kids could write better stuff. How did it ever become so popular? Plus I read the plot outline on Wikipedia and I hate the message it sends out about falling in love with a vampire. Twilight is the reason why book burning should be a public event.

My least favourite book of all time, for reasons I've already given, is The Lady in the Tower by Weir. I also tried to read Wolf Hall but just couldn't get into it. Did anybody else find it a bit pretentious?
I could never get into anything by either Thomas Hardy or D H Lawrence. They always leave me cold.

I didn't like The Lady Elizabeth, by Alison Weir. And I'll go ahead and mention the elephant in the living room… That book (and movie) that shall not be named by that terrible author who shall not be named. There, was that sufficiently vague?

Ring the bell and run. He hates that."
