Sorry, Facebook frightens the life out of me – I signed on a couple of years ago and quickly got out. I went in again about a week ago to see something about a Norwegian promotion and saw posts attributed to me that I had never made. I personally think it is a dangerous method of communication but I appear on it still even though I have cut off.

For those concerned about Facebook privacy, there's a nice article about how to fine-tune your privacy settings to control exactly what information can be seen by whom, over on The Huffington Post here:

I really hope you're Devidal Alexandra, Lexy, otherwise I've just friended the wrong person!! Alexandra Devidal was from Mexico so I figured you were the one in France.

Impish_Impulse, there were 118 Carolyn Lucases on Facebook, and it was hard to find you. (I only found you in Claire's friend list, but could not friend you from there, even when I opened your page.) Also, Sabrina, I found 79 Sabrina Padillas on Facebook, but no Sabrina Marie Padilla. And my Facebook page is as simple as could be to find: after http://www.facebook.com and the slash, please put katheryn.gallant
Perhaps my page is so hard to find because I have blocked it from everybody but my friends. It makes it hard for people whom I want to friend to find me, however

PS: When I requested Lexy to add me as a friend, I found Sabrina as well as Impish_Impuslse. I could add Sabrina, but somehow could not add Impish_Impulse: there was no “add as friend” button opposite her name. Very odd…

I still maintain that Facebook is an extremely dangerous tool – Unless one is sophisticated (unlike myself) to be able to block information. Out of sheer curiosity I looked up people who had actually did my company some harm in the past and could see what they were doing. I won't react but it shows how easy it is to get into other people's lives and if one wanted to do so, create havoc. As I have preciously said I have been in and out of Facebook on a number of occasions and have been amazed what has been attribited to me which I didn't say. Just give me the simple mail (as I don't have a web) and I would love to become friends with people who share myy interests that way but definitely not on Facebook, Twitter or Twitter or any of the like

I'm only on Facebook a few times a week (I'm not an addict, and I'm not into Farmville or MafiaWars although I do often play a real mean game of Movie Trivia) and most of my Friends are either relatives, fellow coworkers, people I attended a specialized school with, or fellow Russell Crowe fans, so you'll find I don't have thousands attached to me!
