So this year I am actually going to a Halloween party, it is ages since I have been to one!
I am going as Anne Boleyns ghost, I just ordered a dress of ebay (sorry Claire, cant afford the one off here!), going to order a french hood, get a black wig and have blood and scars around my neck!
Anyone else going as Anne?

I'm going as Anne too! I ordered the necklace from here for the costume, I couldn't afford the costume either-although I would love to have it-it's beautiful! I was going to go as her ghost, but I found a costume close enough to what she would have worn and am going as her alive, but I don't know what to do with my hair-help please! Thanks!

Well my dress arrived and its not red, more of a pink. Doubt Anne would have worn it by its only fancy dress so abit of fun! my french hood arrived today which is amazing, its green with a wool and lace edge, the hood is better than the dress! Just waiting on my wig now!

Like I say, not brilliant but I had a budget to stick to
Yes getting a long black wig and then some paint/wax stuff to put around my neck. I'm already pale so no white makeup for the ghost look is required
I'll def post a picture! So excited!
Hi Bella,
I suppose it depends on whether you want to go traditional or in the style of “The Tudors”. There are loads of headshots of Natalie Dormer as Anne on our wiki site – http://theanneboleynfiles.wetp…..the+Tudors – and she seems to either have her hair loose, with some kind of decoration in it, or up with a centre parting. In “The Tudors” they quite often used necklaces as hair chains or decorations (like our pearl hair chain on the shop) so you could do this if you've got a suitable necklace and attach it with hair grips/bobby pins or whatever you guys call them.
I reckon up with a centre parting or loose with a chain/necklace to decorate.
I'd love to see your finished costume!

Belle if your hair is dark and straight I would wear it down in a centre parting because isn't Anne well known for her long dark hair? In the Other Boleyn Girl when Natalie Prtman wears it down for her coronation it looks lovely, I always remember that scene!

Belle and Gemma,
I'm dying to see photos of you in your costumes!
Gemma,
The French hood looks great but the link for the dress said that the bid had ended – is it the same as the Ladies Medieval Fancy Dress Juliet at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ladies-M…..%26ps%3D63?
I'm sure you'll look great with the hood, dress and make-up.
Belle,
Have you decided what you're going to do with your hair? Gemma is right, Anne was known for her hair so perhaps loose with a centre parting.

So I received my Anne Boleyn necklace today!! I'm so excited! I did my hair tonight too. I'm going with an updo, similar to how they have Anne wear her hair sometimes in The Tudors. I went with this because my hair isn't very long and I feel to pull of the long, straight hair, my hair would have to be much longer. I'm going to find a white pearl necklace to put in my hair and mix it with a gold peal necklace I have.
So here's a picture of my costume http://www.target.com/Women%E2…..%20Costume
It's not the right style/time period, but I was on a budget (budget's are no fun! lol) Anyway I'm super excited, seriously when I got the necklace in the mail today I squeeled for about ten mintues! I can't believe I own a replica of Anne's necklace! YAY!
