I had my first appointment with the nurse at the local doctors surgery this morning for ‘an injection’ so shaking in my wee boots I turned up (I hate injections) only to find after she had stabbed me and done the deed that I have to have further injections – as in one every TWO days for the next fortnight. Huh? Nobody told me that. I am not a happy person. I hate needles and being stabbed and the horrible stinging in my arm and I am really miserable and have to go again on Thursday boo hoo Cry

Not good Maggie, but there again if it helps you healthwise it’s something that has got to be done.
To be honest I’m dreading next Thursday 5th July, going into hospital to have an epidural on my back. The needle they use isn’t exactly small either it feels like a telegraph pole. Enough said.
Your’ll be fine Maggie. We’ll soon have you doing cartwheels round the kitchen table.

Wow Maggy and Boleyn – you guys have my complete sympathy Frown Hope you both do fine!
I don’t really mind needles that much, but then I’ve never had to go for injections every second day for two weeks (!) or had a telegraph pole stuck in my back (!!)
You guys totally rock!!!!!

I can totally sympathize with both of you. I hate getting a needle! I used to be a nurse and worked on a surgical floor and injections were done every day. I always had to pretend that it wasn’t a person that I was sticking the needle into, but a pillow. EmbarassedSmile
